The substrate adjustment mortar additive, Fujisand II, uses special foamed fine particles as the main aggregate, combined with synthetic resin adhesives, thickeners, and fibrous bonding agents to create an adhesive additive for substrate adjustment mortar. It has high heat resistance and alkali resistance, and because it uses highly elastic aggregates, it produces a mortar with a low Young's modulus that can absorb the expansion and contraction of the mortar layer due to temperature changes, humidity changes, and water absorption.
